Detailed Subject Guide – 2025 Entry

EPQ

In the Lower Sixth Form, students also have the opportunity to complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), an additional pathway for the second and third term of the Lower Sixth. EPQ stands for ‘Extended Project Qualification’ and is a standalone qualification equivalent to half an A-Level (28 UCAS points) in which students carry out an independent research project that is then assessed.
